The report gives a cumulative total of 1,771 sites and 13,757 measurements: 9,359 temperature, 4,261 thermal conductivity and 137 heat flow. Sources include BGS, the Mining Remediation Authority, the Environment Agency, NRW, SEPA, the North Sea Transition Authority and UKOGL. Headline finding: closed-loop is technically deployable almost anywhere in GB, with up to 55% of the population able to extract about 15,000 kWh/yr from a single 150 m borehole.

Tellus South West airborne geophysical survey
Airborne radiometric (potassium, uranium, thorium) and magnetic survey over Cornwall and Devon. The direct heat-production evidence for the Cornubian granite batholith, which hosts the UK's only operating deep geothermal power projects at United Downs and Eden. The catalogue already held the Northern Ireland Tellus survey; this is the geothermally consequential one.
