Spatial Hub Scotland

What it contains

Aggregated, standardised datasets collated from all 32 Scottish local authorities and 2 national park authorities - the only route to nationally consistent local-authority data (planning applications, development plans, vacant and derelict land, greenspace, conservation areas). Hosts the Mine Water Geothermal Resource Atlas and GHiGs.

When you need it

Not yet mapped to a project stage. The stage axis is a first pass against a draft matrix, and a record with no stage means nobody has placed it rather than that it is useful at none.

Caveats

Tiered licensing is the main obstacle. No single open bulk API for the whole catalogue. Vacant and derelict land and development-plan layers are highly relevant to siting but sit behind PSGA.
